Dea and I were talking about how we wanted to fangirl a few people at invol and everyone always talks about feeling self conscious there or wanting more connections, so, here is a twist on a snaps cup, specific to the game.

1. Post a comment w/your character's name and their journal name (if it's not the one you're using to comment with, which you can do too).
2. Reply to people's comments to say nice things about them or solicit plot or whatevs you want to do.
3. Anon comments are screened so that you can also say/request things in private if you want, but please don't use this to be jerks because that is not what snaps are about.

I remember I told you at the beginning how much I enjoy Harlow, and that has not changed, tyvm. I love how delightfully awkward she and Hunter have been so far -- I was clutching my face during their last email exchange -- and I need to have Javier talk to her more, because they were/have been definitely friendly for a bit but not friendly enough for me.

LOL, she has no idea what to make of Hunter, man. Like, she thought he was so nice to start with, telling her not to be ashamed of herself, but then... the more she knows of him, the odder that all seems? Like, she wants to just be nice to him and be his friend and have him be nice to her and be her friend, but that is of course too naive, when Hunter is concerned, methinks?

I would love that! I think she and Javier would probably get along well; they both do Vol Club, and I think he's kind of friendly with Nawal who is totally Harlow's bestie, and she's becoming friends with Jaelle too, slowly, so there's probably enough overlap that they can know each other vaguely enough to feel comfortable commenting to each other? Or we can find a reason to write a little log!

Yeah, Hunter definitely can seem contradictory for someone who doesn't know him that well, since he'll be vocally supportive over his own values most of the time rather than for a specific person or "to be nice," so yeahhhh naive is one way to say it, I guess. BUT HARLOW -- he did try to apologize in that email at least, that's more than he would usually bother to do!!

She does Culinary Club too, right? Javier's also in that! I feel like they probably overlap enough that we can handwave them being friendly. :D

It is so sad because like, while I can see it, that was 110% not her take away from that exchange; she mostly feels like she just got jumped up and down on a lot. >.< To be fair to Hunter, she's basically hyper sensitive to any vague hint of an implication that she might not understand something, that she's not very smart, etc., because she feels inadequate, having not finished her college education. I think he just struck a nerve when she was just on one of her missions to be sympathetic, and... headbutting. :P I'm sadistically interested to see what they end up like, after all this? XD
