Date: 2012-08-06 09:46 pm (UTC)Plus, watching Jim and Maggie's sexual tension is enough to satiate my appetite for a whole week. (Also question: why the hell did Lisa start dating Jim, if she knew that Maggie liked him? Awkberg.)

Date: 2012-08-06 10:09 pm (UTC)My guess is that Lisa dated Jim because he's adorable and if Maggie isn't going to nab him, she might as well. And then he unfortunately doesn't get over Maggie in the way Lisa might have hoped, even though with the time delay they're together for like, 4+ months (which I think gets lost, and helps justify her statement of love a tiny bit). If this is more like West Wing than Studio 60, we won't really see Maggie/Jim until pretty near the end of the show, either. And that's fair. In the teaser for future episodes when Jim says to Lisa that he isn't going to be someone's second choice (presumably in reference to Maggie), that's a reasonable feeling; he's been through over a year of her and Don breaking up and making up.
Is it just me, or would Don/Sloan be awesomely good? >.> I saw it coming a while ago, but the last two weeks have really reinforced my want for it.
