1. Tonight is my 10 year high school reunion. I'm not going, not because omg, I feel so old or anything, or that I haven't accomplished enough to feel proud when compared to my peers (k, that one's a bit true but like, I also weirdly don't care a ton that I'm not married or a mom and that I'm kind of under-employed atm?). I'm not going because it's in a casino bar from 6-8pm, for $30, for two drinks and snacks. I wasn't a big school spirit lady to start with, and of my two bffs from high school, one's not going, the other is coming with his wife (and their two kids are going to the picnic part, tomorrow), and it's too awkward because at their public wedding (he's Mormon, I'm not, can't be a part of the private one), he nearly crashed his car to leap out of it, run over, sweep me off my feet and spin me around, and then FORGET TO INTRODUCE ME TO HIS BRAND NEW WIFE. She understandably dislikes me, it would be awkward.


2. For the last four days now, people have been texting and calling me, and I'm 95% sure it's because someone who must be a drug dealer gave them the wrong number. They're all like "Yo, this is _______, where you at? I've got cash, what's good?" or "Got any of the green things left? Have $50 cash." I've sent a "Wrong #, sorry," text to about nine different phone numbers now, so either this is one persistent guy with the wrong number and he's using friends' phones, or a drug dealer was so fucked up he gave the wrong number to a dozen people. Way to lose your business, drug dealer.


3. Clue holds open tonight, jsyk! the_body! Come have a mystery-filled summer! :D Edit: I found proxies for helloworld and rainbowling, if there's anyone who can do aardwolves's, please let me know and I'll send her hold info along to you! Thank you acejillian and chthonian! ♥


4. I have no idea what to do for Invol. I think I'm going to do what I did for Reaped, which was wait until there's three hours left before holds open and wing it, because that way I wouldn't get attached to any particular concept and be disappointed if someone beat me to it. That being said, anyone want/need anything in particular besides Loren who has already requested a Jewess of me?

For my 10 year reunion, I went out to dinner with my friends. None of us wanted to pay $50 bucks for appetizers and shooting pool.

Invol is Sarah and Cat and Jamie's new game! invol! It's a college for the first wave of supernatural humans, essentially. Really well put together, and not based on canon from any particular source, so I can play w/o feeling like a jerk who hasn't read enough comic books!

LOL WOW AT THAT WEDDING STORY.

Awhile ago I kept on getting calls from some angry-sounding guys who said that they "wanted the money" and were "coming to get me". I finally got a new number but IT WAS THE MOST TERRIFYING THING.

SUNNI, THAT WAS LIKE, HALF OF IT. Reception line: more giant hugs and talk of how much he missed me, and I had to introduce myself to the bride. Reenactment of their ring exchange? LOOKED AT ME BEFORE PUTTING THE RING ON HER FINGER.

Oh my god, I hope that doesn't happen to me, that sounds horrible!!! I don't have drugs to sell to these people, if they start to get threatening... I guess I could go to the cops and report them, but ugh, dnw to do it just because of a few dumb texts/voicemails.

I would suggest doing like, a small pre-log w/someone and have them post it while you're away, but, everyone gets to claim a hiatus for one of the weekly activity checks, so as long as you're not someone who spaces out before and after you're away, I think you should be fine! :D
