This one is a little one that the journal purge inspired, because I adopted all these clue usernames a while back and then haven't done anything with it since, so IJ was all "deleted!" and I said "No! I will do this game!"

But, y'know, the good thing about this one is that you're guaranteed not to be swamped by overloading on characters, since you only get one? :D And, short term!

Nell, what is the time frame you're looking at for this game. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Clue and am loving this game concept, but I'm going to be off for 2 weeks at the end of July/beginning of August.

Hm. Well, I think we probably would be playing at that time, so you'd miss some stuff, yes, but you could do a hiatus for one week, and possibly pre-log the 500 words a day or two before you leave and have someone else post it to cover the other? I'm not sure when it's going to 'peak,' so to speak, as far as the mystery being solved, so I'm sorry I don't have better estimates for you on how much you'd miss out on. :( The person I got the journals/idea from did one round but it flopped very very early on, like after a day or two. Hopefully that won't happen this time around, but it means the timeline is still very unknown to me.

It's sort of uncharted territory, at least as far as I know? I think I found a way to make it work but I don't rule out the idea of everyone figuring it out after nine days or something because you're all p. damn clever, and I'm the lady who thought she had a good, logical system for bingo cards just by shifting everything over by one column, soooo... Experimental games FTW!
