This book is coming out in 2016 or something, I bet. GRRM, DO YOU NOT KNOW THE APOCALYPSE IS COMING MUCH, MUCH SOONER??? I HAVE TO KNOW WHO JON'S REAL PARENTS ARE BEFORE THE WORLD ENDS. The rest, meh, I can take it or leave it. >.>

They shoot in Ireland and Malta, and that's amazing, but soon it's not just going to be King's Landing and Winterfell and the Wall, soon there will be Dragonstone and Sunspear and Braavos and Pentos and the Iron Islands. Yeah, my thoughts EXACTLY. They've talked a lot about how expanding the scope for S2 has been magical and marvelous and great, and I am stoked for that because it sounds/looks like they're keeping up so far -- but the scope just keeps expanding with each book, and I just feel that eventually they are going to plateau at the point where it is no longer possible/feasible to shoot all of this.

We're on two of presumably four continents in the story now; but I wouldn't put it past him to get Sothoros and Norvos in there too. HBO: Shooting Television on Four Imaginary Continents. :P
