I have no voice. :( This may be gross, but, I got seasick on the ferry there - - does anyone know if you can lose your voice from throwing up? Does it cause permanent damage?

BUT, I have had a fun weekend with chthonian who is darling and dear. We had oodles of fun, even when we were just being lazy in our super cute private room at the hostel, watching Parks & Rec and eating food. The weather was windy and rainy and generally ick, so we wound up seeing 50/50 and In Time, trying to stay indoors, etc.

Now I am home, and my mother has somehow fucked up my dad's brand new computer, and she's all "IIIIII don't know what happened!" I wish I could go back to Victoria. >.<

1. Do you know how I did it? I listened to Gaga. I'm not joking. I was all "I wanna listen to more Gaga, one song at breakfast was not enough, and then I was doing that thing where you're dancing in your head (and your bumcheeks, but you're sitting down so it doesn't show unless you start tapping your feet too), and it was distracting enough to where if I was just singing loudly along in my head (hell, even had I wanted to sing in front of the crowd on the boat, NO VOICE), I could ignore the massive amount of boat sway. I felt very bad though, for the dozen or so ladies I saw emerge from the bathroom looking woeful. :(

2. You can share with housemates instead of hoarding bread a la Templeton the rat!! You should just call them, and see if you give them your credit card, will they express mail you a loaf of bread, from time to time. :P I may have to find a way to get you some for Christmas.

3. SEE, SOMEONE KNEW ABOUT IT. And they didn't tell you. Luckily for our tastebuds, I was aware too. I liked my fruit and banana bread, and your benny and other people's food looked good at John's too, mind, but I think I still like the Blue Fox just a hair better? It's a good thing I don't live at that hostel full time; with two delicious, fattening breakfast places within six blocks...
