There is absolutely nothing that smells as good as cookies baking, although, it's also moderately torturous, because you cannot have at them immediately unless you want to burn your mouth.

When I was in high school, my Mom had this candle that smelled exactly like baking cookies. It tricked me on a few occasions.

That would be so disappointing! I mean, I have to wait ten minutes for cookies, but smelling cookies and not having them at all... :(

This. I make oatmeal/coco chip cookies every Halloween weekend and I want them now.

I wish we still lived in a world where it would be safe for trick or treaters to eat baked goods, or popcorn balls or things like that. I would make super yummy cookies or brownies to give out, instead of generic twizzlers and sweettarts and junk.

I miss that a lot, but I stopped trick or treating around 2001.

LMAO! I stopped in like... '96 or '97. IIIIII am old, I think. But it still wasn't safe to eat weird homemade stuff then, and I lived in a little tiny town.

I stopped after 9/11- my bff was Muslim, so if she wasn't trick or treating I wasn't. My neighbors used to give us cookies, but they were sweet little old people?
