My 2 hour layover just turned into a six hour layover. I paid $8 for internet, only to have my computer say, several minutes after purchase, that my battery life is going to be shorter now, so, I just have roughly 1.5 hours of computer time, unless I can find an outlet.

I may weep. Or sleep on the floor.

EDIT: I found an outlet. Now if only I could find a portal through time and space.

EDIT 2: It will now be seven hours instead of six. :-|

EDIT 3: $100 Southwest voucher and an apology for the extreme delay! I'm still exhausted and achy and really eager for a bed, but... now I can have another trip sometime this year on the cheap!

I found an outlet, in a corner where I might be able to curl up on the floor if I so choose. Now I'm going to make a journal layout for you-know-what.

Oh gawd, that is the most frustrating thing. In my experience there usually are outlets somewhere in an airport - I see people using them quite often.

I found one! I had to give up my seat where I could prop my feet up to get the one with the outlet, but, it's in a corner with floor space that is free of trash, so I may really lie down on the floor later...

I will keep my fingers crossed for the portal, but am glad you have the outlet in the meantime!

The good news: I got a $100 voucher, and thusly, Deana and I have almost fully decided that we're both going to come visit you and Dawn, if you'll have us. We're used to bunking together now, and we think we'd all have a marvelous time. :D

Urgh, I feel for you. It is a shame that they won't put you up in a room at the airport hotel so you could get some sleep and have a shower and whatnot. Air Asia did that for us (at a cushy 5 star hotel too, not even the airport hotel) for a 7.5 hour delay though I suppose domestic versus international does kick in here.

I would have LOVED that, oh my.

No. This shows my lameness, but, at about hour three, I went to look at a terminal map, and the nearest thing with alcohol was 22 gates away, and I said fuck it, I'm going to eat a pizza and watch HBO Go. >.>

That or maybe if a duty-free shop was near, gotten my booze from there.
